As someone who doesn’t typically maintain a new year’s resolution, I’m both excited and overwhelmed by the challenge I’ve created for myself. The challenge is three-fold. I’ve been saying for a while now that I’d like to start drawing again; this resolution will function as a structured environment to keep me on track. Secondly, it will be a test of my dedication to a task at hand. And lastly, and most entertainingly, it will be a celebration of my recent revival of a subject of which I have long-been passionate. Draw all 151 of the Original Pokemon Species by 2012
I’m putting them all in a big hat, and drawing at random to make it more exciting. They’re also all going to be doing something (read: not just standing there like a nincompoop.) I may sneak a trainer or two in there if I feel it’s appropriate. I’m going to be drawing them all on actual paper because I’m compulsive and need to have tangible originals, so be patient while I scan them and stuff.
